Annual Report

The Minneapolis Women's Rotary is a service organization. Members vote every two years on a new charitable organization. We have several fundraising events, including our major annual spring event that includes:
• A style show 
• Luncheon 
• Cash bar 
• Drawings
• Silent auction

Our members have chosen to support charities in our community including:
The Boys and Girls Clubs
The Cookie Cart
Arts in Education, Minneapolis Schools
The Minneapolis Women's Rotary Memorial Scholarship Fund

In addition to fundraising for our charity, which we choose every 2 years, the Minneapolis Women's Rotary supports an ongoing memorial education fund and endowment fund. Our donations are focused on supporting non-traditional women students with the intent to help women continue their undergraduate educations. Scholarship recipients have included women from:

•  The College of St. Catherine's http://www.stkate.edu
•  Metro State University  http://www.metrostate.edu

We are grateful to know that our scholarships have enabled "women interrupted" by life's challenges to continue their educations, and are happy to be partners in their success!
